It all begins with an idea. Joyfully Engaged Learning Arkansas was established in 2023 to raise the bar of quality of Arkansas’s ealry childhood care and education. As one of only a few states without a state affiliate for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, programs lacked access to the technical and financial assistance to support their efforts in national accreditation.

  • Responsible for leading fundraising and resource development efforts to support Joyfully Engaged Learning’s mission. The role focuses on securing financial support through grants, donations, sponsorships, and events, while building and maintaining relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners.

  • The Accreditation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting early childhood education programs throughout Arkansas in achieving and maintaining NAEYC accreditation. This position provides guidance, training, and technical assistance to programs pursuing accreditation, ensures compliance with NAEYC standards, and fosters continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, organized, and collaborative professional with expertise in early childhood education and a passion for promoting high-quality learning environments.
